Golden Wings is classic simplicity in soft, buttery yellow.  The single blooms come in continuous waves all season.  The bush assumes a rounded form when fully established.  Golden Wings might need a fairly protected location, on an eastern or south facing exposure where the winters get really cold.  Golden Wings sometimes gets blackspot on the older leaves late during the season.  Golden Wings remains one of the choicest of the hardy yellow roses.
