Excelsa is one of the classic once blooming red ramblers.  Super Excelsa has all of the outstanding characteristics of Excelsa, with the added benefit of nearly continuous bloom.   Hardiness is good in Zone 5 in a location that is protected from the west winds during the winter.  Blaze has exceptional vigor and can make an outstanding specimen growing up an arbor or a trellis.
